Itinerary for the Tour: Your Exploration
of India
Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
With arrival in the colorful capital of
India, Delhi, you will be greeted by our welcoming representative who will
assist you in checking into your hotel.
In case of interest, you may opt for an
exciting evening visit to such attractions as India Gate, Connaught Place, or
traditional North Indian food.
Overnight stay in Delhi is scheduled.
Day 2: Exploring Delhi and Traveling to
Agra
Start off with a breakfast and head for
visiting the following places of interest in Delhi: The magnificent Jama
Masjid Raj Ghat Enjoy a rickshaw ride across the buzzing Chandni Chowk
The Qutub Minar Humayun’s Tomb And finally the Lotus Temple
While traveling through Delhi, you will
have the opportunity to view India Gate, President’s House, and the Parliament
House from the outside.
Then, we leave for Agra which requires 3.5
hours of travel time. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax. Stay
overnight in Agra.
Day 3: Delightful Places in Agra and
Onward to Jaipur
Begin with a breathtaking sunrise trip to
the Taj Mahal, a rare and unique experience. After enjoying the view,
return for breakfast, and get ready for: Visiting the magnificent Agra Fort Visiting
the pretty Itmad-ud-Daulah or Mehtab Bagh for an enchanting view
of the Taj from the river After that, we will make our way to Jaipur and en
route visit Fatehpur Sikri, another historic Mughal place. Once reached
in Jaipur, check into your hotel. You will be staying overnight in Jaipur.
Day 4: Exploring the Royal Capital of
Rajasthan
Today is all about visiting the royal
capital of Rajasthan. Some of the places you will be visiting are: Riding on an
elephant to the Amber Fort, alternatively riding by jeep to the fort Getting
your pictures clicked in the Jal Mahal, water palace Taking a tour
around the City Palace, Jantar Mantar, and Hawa Mahal
In case you wish to shop, then try Johari Bazaar and Bapu Bazaar.
Later you can treat yourself to a cultural dinner (optional) at one of the
heritage restaurants. You will be spending the night in Jaipur.
Day 5: Travel to Haridwar from Jaipur
Either go back to Delhi post breakfast or
catch a train or flight to Haridwar from Jaipur. Check-in at your hotel in
Haridwar. Later in the evening, proceed towards Har Ki Pauri to see the enthralling
Ganga Aarti and watch as thousands of diyas light up the banks of River
Ganga. Spend the night in Haridwar.
Day 6: Haridwar to Rishikesh
Begin your day early with visits to either Mansa
Devi Temple or Chandi Devi Temple. These temples are accessible via
cable cars. Later visit Daksh Mahadev Temple. We will move ahead to
Rishikesh, which is around an hour’s drive away. On arrival, you will explore: Laxman
Jhula/Ram Jhula Triveni Ghat, Ghat Aarti in the evening Optional: Yoga and
Meditation classes Stay overnight in Rishikesh.
Day 7: Rishikesh Rest Day and Transfer
to Delhi
Breakfast will be served and you can spend
the day doing yoga or relaxing near the holy river Ganges. By afternoon, we
shall return to Delhi through a drive of about 6 to 7 hours and upon arrival,
check into your hotel. Take advantage of your free evening and explore either
Connaught Place or Dilli Haat Shopping Complex. This is where you will stay
overnight in Delhi.
Day 8: Leave from Delhi
After breakfast, proceed for the check-out from your hotel. You will be driven to the airport for onward journey. Your Golden Triangle Tour ending in Haridwar and Rishikesh concludes in 7 nights and 8 days of spiritual experiences and great memories in North India. Have safe journey ahead!
